Ironman Update #8

Hello world first off my absence has not been because I lacked the words to say anything but rather because of priorities otherwise sometimes know as life. Well the biggest lesson I learned this week is a simple one regardless of what you may think you need all the pieces of the puzzle to make it happen. What do i mean ? I have been following my program to a tee with one exception nutrition. Thats right folks I am training for a triathlon and technically not eating or fueling my body correctly.

The main difference between pro athletes and amateurs is there nutrition Not there training plan or level of intesity.

I like to consider myself as professional as possible so needless to say I am making my necessary corrections to get to the point I need to. Not easy but is needed so that I can win this thing at some point. This then set my brain into overdrive during training and I came up with a few questions that I applied to my life and thought I might share with you.

What project are you currently working that you are eliminating or skipping steps ?

  • What is the impact of those type of choices?
  • How much more effective would you be if you followed those steps?

Are the steps present for a reason?

Why are you skipping them?

What would it take to put them in place?

Those were a sampling I used when dealing with my desire to skip out on nutrition during a triathlon because that makes sense ***read with sarcasm please*** Take a few moments and help stop the madness of working harder than you need to and use the questions above to help you maximize your potential.

Until my next posting

God Bless and Good Luck
