Wait & Wait

I titled this article wait because that seems to be a recent theme I am dealing with in my life It seems as if everything I want to have happen is close and I mean close to my reach so close I can taste it. The lord however has decided that while I think I am close I am not yet ready to receive my rewards. At first I thought that this was a bad thing but as I look at it I realize that as with everything in my life it usually works out in the end my impatience comes from the fact that I move at a different speed than the rest of the world or at least it feels like that. The problem is watching this and dealing with the challenges it brings.

Some of the things I want are listed below

A consistent schedule to spend time with my son

To start my business.

For the love, and appreciation I give to come back to me.

To have someone care for me the way I know I can care for them.

The list goes one but those are the things that I know I want and the variables that go into are a pretty long list so what am I to do ? Well the only thing I can do wait and stop focusing on them and put my energy in a more productive resource. I also have faith that God will fulfill my request at his own time and that was further reenforced when I stumbled upon Ecclesiastes 3:2-8 which reads as follows

A Time For Everything

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.

a time to be born and a time to die

a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted.

a time to kill and a time to heal

a time to break down and a time to build up

a time to weep and a time laugh

a time to mourn and time to dance

a time to cast stones and a time to gather stones together

a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing

a time to seek and a time to lose

a time to keep and time to cast away

a time to tear and a time to sew

a time to keep silence and a time to speak

a time to love and time to hate

a time for war and a time for peace.

It is comforting to know what time I am in this scripture reminds me that life is a wave and we must know where we are in that wave in order not crash and injure yourself. So I will continue to press forward attempting to be the best me I can and my season will soon change.

Until my next post God Bless and Good Luck.

Wow dom that's deep! I appreciate the blog tho cuz I have been feeling similar lately. Thanks for shedding some light on the situation, and what better light than the good book! That's extremely valuable and a great thing to find the positive when others only seem to see the negative. Stay optimistic and it will spread like fire! Thanks again!
